The movie details the hijacking of the presidential jet, AIR FORCE ONE, with the commander-in-chief aboard, all while he evades terrorists to save his family.

The client wanted an image that implied action, yet looked "presidential". They also wanted to avoid the airline disaster look, similar to other films at the time like TURBULENCE.

I played off the standard Harrison Ford "flag waving Jack Ryan" look by actually merging him into the flag, and throwing the colors off kilter -- giving the poster a darker feel. The edges of the Ford image are blurred, implying action.

Mr. Ford kindly passed on this one-sheet. I guess the shot of him that I used (as directed by the client) didn't go over well. He was very involved with the marketing of this movie, along with all other aspects of the film.
