Go
(One-sheet poster comp)
The film GO
features subplots of a group of twenty-somethings in
Los Angeles. Whether it be a drug deal gone bad, or
a wild trip to Las Vegas, GO is a great ride of a film.
As with many ensemble movies, the problem is how to
show a group of people in an interesting way.
For this design, I wanted to separate the characters
and put them in a overly stylized situation, to keep with the
tone of the film.
It starts with a unit shot of Sarah Polley, fishing for her keys in a puddle. I added
each actor and the car from different unit shots. The
sky and city are stock shots. I skewed the colors blue
and blurred the image in strategic areas, along with border creases.
This poster idea was not chosen and the image here
is the final comp version I did in Adobe
Photoshop. |
