In MISS CONGENIALITY Sandra Bullock plays Gracie Hart, an FBI agent who goes undercover in a beauty pageant to catch a criminal.
For the international poster for MISS CONGENIALITY, the client wanted to create a “cosmopolitan” feel, which was served by creating a fictitious city background with stylized light bulb flashes and lights blending into the scene.
The pose of Sandra Bullock used in this poster is similar to that of the US domestic one-sheet, although in our version we traded in an American flag for a pair of handcuffs.
This poster also had the distinction of being noticed (unfavorably) by the FBI, who were unhappy that a realistic looking FBI badge may be used in the artwork. (A different prop badge was used instead.)
