The client wanted to market SPICE WORLD as being sexy and fun, but not skew too young as far as audiences go -- younger fans would be a case of preaching to the choir.

The original comp of this poster had a different grouping of the girls, with a plain Union Jack background. It was felt that was too static, so a sexier group shot was chosen, and the Union Jack flag was amped up with sequins.

The copy line was obviously inspired by the Beatles, but I prefer the copy used for the ROLLING STONE Ad version of this poster:
